MOSCOW, June 20 () -- French actor Gerard Depardieu has signed on to star in the big-screen comedy "Sports Without Borders," the film's producers said Thursday.The actor will play the head of Russia's men's alpine ski team in the movie,[url=http://www.chronotime.net/]louboutin outlet[/url], which is set during the Sochi 2014 Olympics, production company Stella told RIA Novosti.Otto Retzer and Alexander Lomakin are directing the $4 million, Russian-Austrian co-production.Depardieu obtained a Russian passport in January after President Vladimir Putin invited him to be a citizen when he left France in protest of a proposed 75 percent tax on wealthy residents. |
