THE Taman Selat flea market or better known as Rope Walk in Butterworth will operate round-the-clock once the newly renovated market opens before the end of the year.
Taman Selat Small Traders As-sociation chairman Idris Ibrahim (pic) said the market which had undergone a RM1mil facelift would take after the concept of flea markets in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya which opened until the wee hours of the morning.
He said the 180-odd traders at the Taman Selat market who were members of the association had agreed to operate round-the-clock and conduct a trial run to gauge the response.
