Winter Clothes on a Budget
I suffer from a condition called Raynaud's which affects my circulation in cold weather. To keep my spirits up while my temperature drops, I like to buy new winter clothes. This year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I needed quite a few new items but I also needed to stay within my budget so I had to do a bit of shopping around to find great bargains on warm clothes. I was very successful and on this lens,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I feature my nice, new, warm, and inexpensive winter wardrobe. None of the clothes will win fashion awards, but they work wonders on containing Raynaud's and leaving me enough money for other gifts.
Finding a winter coat was a challenge. I started out at my favorite department store and found a gorgeous coat on sale (but definitely not cheap) that was made for someone with the arms of an orangutan. Strike one. I then went to an outlet mall and again found a beautiful, but not cheap, coat made for arms that stretched to the floor. Strike two. I spent an hour searching all the stores in this large outlet mall and finally came to the end store,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Burlington Coat Factory. This is where I hit a home run in my search and found a lovely coat with arms made for humans at the incredible price of just $20! Yes, that's right, $20 for a nice,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], warm winter coat. I couldn't decide on the white or black one so I took both.
This year, instead of wasting time with expensive coats made for apes, check out the Burlington Coat Factory for a perfect coat at an incredibly low price. You can give one as a gift to a loved one and still have plenty of money left over for other great gifts.
One thing I learned a long time ago about keeping warm is that if your head is covered, you can keep more body heat inside you. Since Raynaud's sufferers have a very difficult time generating and maintaining body heat (think Dracula),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I always try to find clothes with hoods. This year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I needed a warm jacket for cool days and I found this great hoodie at Target for just $20. It has a very warm,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], wool lining and a lined hood that can be tied so I can keep all of my body heat to myself. I decided on the orange one because, as you can see, it goes very well with my homemade orange mittens.
Hoodies make great presents because one can never own too many. After I purchased this lovely orange one at Target, I found another nice one for the same price at Walmart. These discount stores can be great places to find low-cost but beautiful warm winter clothing that make great gifts.
Since Raynaud's primarily affects fingers and toes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I'm always looking for socks. This year I hit a jackpot when I found socks specifically made for people with circulation problems. These Dr. Scholl socks are designed for people with diabetes but they are also great for Raynaud's sufferers. Although they weren't as cheap as regular socks, they were not terribly expensive and they are marvelous. They are warm, soft and wash very well in a washing machine.
These warm and comfortable socks come in a variety of lengths and colors and they make a perfect gift for anyone with circulation problems,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. They can be found at Walmart in cost-saving multicolor multipacks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The latest style in bathrobes this year is ones with hoods. What could be better for a Raynaud's sufferer! Now I can be warm in the house and be stylish. I bought the cute,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], childish one at the Burlington Coat Factory for $12.50. I was delighted with it but I didn't want to wear it when I had visitors so I was really pleased when I found the second, blue and white one on sale for just $17 at Sears. Both are made of warm fleece and the hoods keep me extra warm. And the Sears one looks so good, I can wear it when company comes to visit.
This year, the woman in your life can be stylish and warm in the house with a cute hooded bathrobe. Since this is the latest style in bathrobes, you should be able to find one at a good price at Sears or another favorite store.
Tips for Sufferers of Raynaud's
Raynaud's is a terrible condition that causes people who suffer from it to lose circulation,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], primarily in their fingers and toes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], whenever they are exposed to cold air. I suffer from Raynaud's and every winter I start to feel like a bear who wants to sleep.

Warm Gifts for Christmas
I suffer from a condition called Raynaud's that causes me to lose circulation in cold weather. Each winter, I find nice, new items to warm me up,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so I thought I'd share some of this year's finds on this special Christmas for Cold People lens. More warm ide.
