My wife kept bugging me to get a pedicure with her because it makes your feet feel so good and I was always complaining about my feet hurting. She accompanied me to her salon the next time she had a pedi and made it as comfortable for me as possible, explaining exactly what the girls were doing. I was still very apprehensive and nervous. When they asked if I wanted a color I picked out Fuchsia Bling, Bling by Sally Hansen, a bright pinkish,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], red color. I figured if I was going to get it done I may as well go all the way, and besides if it looked embarrassing enough maybe my wife would not ever mention my getting a pedicure again. Of course I was completely embarrassed as other women in the salon noticed how my toes looked, but I tried to act very casual about the whole ordeal. My wife even made several comments about how that color really looked good on my feet. From that time on I regularly go back for pedicures, with or without my wife, and I really enjoy sporting different colors with each visit. I have tried numerous different colors but "Fuchsia Bling, Bling" is my favorite.

It has nothing to do with being gay or not gay! Where does this uninformed notion come from? I have been getting regular pedicures and wearing nail polish on my toes with sandals for the past 7 years. I am married and my wife and I go to the same nail salon and most of the time wear matching color on our toes. My favorite color Big Apple Red which is a classic red. I get many compliments from women and they always tell me that I have feminine feet like a girl. I have admired nail polish on women's toes for as long as I can remember and was always told as a little boy that nail polish is for girls and that I couldn't wear it. I started out wearing blue and black on my toes but really wanted to wear red because it is my favorite color and looks the best on my light skin. I finally got the courage to wear red and have never looked back and my toes are always professionally pedicured and wearing red polish. I get so many compliments on the red toenails and am told that they look a lot better than black,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], blue. or gray.
There is no reason that guys should be limited to not wearing nail polish or wearing only certain colors. After all,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], women wear all colors including black,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], dark blue, silver, and other colors that are being labeled as "male colors". Women have been borrowing from men's fashion for years and today even wear neckties, masculine shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], baseball caps, and just about any other artices from men's fashion. There is no reason that men shouldn't be able to incorporate articles from feminine fashion because after all, it is a two-way street. Many men are afraid to wear nail polish because it is a deviation from the herd mindset that most men follow and most men are terrified of doing anything that is considered to be feminine because they have been conditioned since a small child that any feminine expression is bad, A good example of this is the earring trend for men. Men didn't really start wearing earrings until professional athletes started wearing them, and then they had the green light to do it. Everyone should be their own person and not allow society to dictate what they can and cannot wear including nail polish and colors of nail polish. Also, what you wear has nothing to do with sexuality. Are all men that wear earrings gay? Are all women that wear men's shirts, tattoos, shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or neckties gay? See how absurd this thought process is? Most gay men do not wear nail polish or feminine clothing. Gay means having sex with members of the same sex. It has nothing to do with what you wear.
