Breaking Dawn will most likely not be rated R
'Breaking Dawn' by Stephenie Meyer - Hachette Books
The idea that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn would be an R-rated film continues to be circulating for a while, mostly driven by fans who want to see a few of the steamier moments in the "Isle Esme" segment.
However, the overall consensus continues to be an awareness the Twilight series includes a PG-13 demographic which elevating the MPAA rating for this portion of the franchise would be a very big mistake.
Now,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Summit Entertainment's Richie Fay has confirmed to MTV that there is no intention in the studio's end for the fourth and fifth legs from the Twilight Saga film franchise to become R-rated.
"I aren't seeing it ever becoming an R-rated movie," Richie Fay (distribution chief for Summit) stated. "I can't say for a fact, but I just don't see us getting into an R-rated area with the 'Twilight' titles."
Although this isn't an official confirmation from the sought for rating, it will indicate the status quo is the way the filmmakers will go with Breaking Dawn. There is absolutely NOTHING Rated R about the scene in the book! It really leaves all to imagination (there are no descriptive scenarios apart from she awakens and says it had been the very best, blah blah blah-all else we completed ourselves) and so i aren't seeing why this is a big disappointment to some. Maybe the naked part in the water scene will suffer the most due to the rating? I don't know. This is the final chapter and I probably have they'll make it great!
SM doesn't watch rated R movies herself, so WHY would she allow her own book to become transformed into a Rated R movie? She wouldn't. I'm one reason she signed on as a producer was to ensure that things were handled the way that she intended these phones be.
For a "alternate version" from the movie, I can not really begin to see the production team shooting one version of the scene, then asking SM to leave the set to enable them to shoot another, steamier version.
SM wrote the story in a way that particular facts are left towards the imagination from the reader. I do not think that it's necessary to expand upon those scenes push the envelope using the ratings. It will still be a really enjoyable movie to watch, even at a PG-13 rating.
To reply to the question at the conclusion of this article -- Nope, I am not surprised. What surprises me may be the number of fans who believe that it will be rated R.
Quite a bit remains to the imagination in the book,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but in a film, you won't want to leave it to the imagination,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], right? It's visual,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and you are bringing the book alive. Having said that, I don't think they should ADD anything at all, but don't remove either. And from everything I've read, it appears as though Melissa R. wants to chop in the birth scene, and not show the birth because the book describes it. Hopefully, she pulls it off,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], because if not, there will be lots of mad fans, me being one of them. However with SM on board as a producer,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I'm sure it will likely be done tastefully, regardless of the rating risk turning out to be.
I think they should up the rating to allow them to create the visuals that they must. I do not think 12 year olds and younger kids should be watching the twilight saga anyway. I visited watch Eclipse again yesterday also it was filled with stupid kids that will not stop talking throughout the film, especially the quieter and more intimate scenes and thoroughly ruined it for everybody! Obviously the low the rating the greater the audience and the more income it may make, so I doubt they'll change it, however i seriously wish they would!
As much as I'd love to see it, I can't imagine Pattinson and Stewart really giving audiences the entire way of measuring their intimacy with each other. It they preserve their privacy in ways already demonstrated, why on the planet would we ever imagine for one second that we'd see anything R rated enacted by them in front of a gazillion eyes across the planet. All the goods are free shipping, and also the the price is competitive, as well as can accept the paypal payment.,following the payment,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], can ship within short time. However, because it is a movie,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I think it could be nice to see some love action between Edward and Bella, in the end, it is exactly what us women are looking toward in the movie. but they can definatley keep it tasteful. look how steamy the leg hitch scene in Eclipse is!! it was too short Sad
I still think that they can do a cut and uncut version. Then the parents can view the uncut and the kids can view the cut. There are many naked scence within the book. Like Bella taking a look at herself in mirror,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Jacob naked in feild Edward naked getting out of bed bella in skimpy cloths at island the entire time. bella naked engaging in water. both naked in water. The birth scence is a major part of it. If a parent lets there kid read about it why wouldn't they let them watch it? There are ways to go around this stuff why can't it be done like this. In theaters you could show each side and then all parties could be happy I know the films have gotten better and I am not disappointed in a but if they omit the key scences in BD I will be,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
No, R rating. As posted on these are young adult books. Stephenie keeps it PG-13 in her books and also the same should go for that movies. It would be a lot steamier and sexier when the scenes were kept classy and not risque. It's suppose to be romantic not raunchy and lustful. I'm a grownup and I have no desire to see these scenes converted into something I can't watch with my teenage daughter. It is something we can both enjoy together so that they should keep it "family friendly" as it has been from the beginning. Plus, Taylor,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Rob and Kristen would never show their goodies Wink
To be sure With YoungTwilightFan1 There Is No Reason To really make it R The Pre-Teens Like Twilight Too Don't Think Kids Can't Watch Twilight. For Me And The Other Young Twilight Fans. Yeah I realize There's a Sex Scene as well as in The Water And also the Birth Part But,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Come on,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Thats Nothing. Ive Seen PG-13 Movies Which are REALLY mature. But That does not Alter the Fact That it cannot Be PG-13. Its Fine Small children Know All of this stuff And Im There Into Twilight As Much as The Older Teens Are,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Plus they Don't Wanna Lose out on Breaking Dawn,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
