I haven't been here in a while so I don't know who remembers me,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but I have Anorexia. I'm just not thin. I was recently put on Zyprexa when some events began to occur in my life and I began to eat large volumes of candy all of the sudden. I called up my psychiatrist and am now going off Zyprexa,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but do you think my body will ever go back to what it was before? I"m not saying that I was "thin" beforehand,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but I was "thinner" at least. just. I'm so sad. I don't know why they put me on this zyprexa in the first place. It did nothing good for me at all and I want to just throw the pills in the trash.
I've been on Zyprexa also; one of the nasty side of some (mostly the strong ones) antipressants cause slowed metabolism,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], constipation weight gain I was ana until my PsyDoc on one that I gained 60 lbs in 3 1/2 weeks!

I have the same questions you do about losing weight after going off Zyprexa but I have an additional question which is can one lose weight while on it with exercise and a low-calorie eating plan. I have been taking it on and off for a few years and have gained 30 lbs. while on it and I am at my wits end. My problem is that each time I go off it my anxiety spins off the charts. Just today somebody asked me if I was pregnant (like the 3rd person this school year). I have gone from 150 lbs. to 180 lbs. and am only 5'5". My advice is that if you can go off it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], then do it now before you can't live without it (like me). You have been on it for such a short while that it will probably wash out of your system pretty quickly.
