NASHVILLE,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Tenn. - Metro police were still searching for the person who shot and killed a 21-year-old man at the Maplewood High School graduation ceremony Monday night.
Police said some of the 4,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],000 people crowded into TSU Gentry Center were literally stepping out of their shoes to get to safety as the gunshots rang out.
Officials said as the commencement ceremony concluded and the graduates and crowd were exiting,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Aundreus Taylor was shot in the face or head area while stepping out the door. The shots came from inside the lobby. Taylor later died.
"It was very. kind of scary because this is a celebration. This is graduation - and to have someone get shot is just unfortunate,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," said witness Michelle Israel.
A 19-year-old bystander sustained minor injuries after being shot in the arm,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

"The victim was known to run in gang circles. He was wearing red clothing. The shooter - according to the witnesses - was wearing a purple shirt or a dark blue shirt.
